Samsung Gear S...4?

So it finally happened, I broke my Samsung Gear S2 classic last night. The ring came off, and I didn't notice until later at night. I got it in 2015 so I thought it had a pretty good run.

So now the question is do I get an S3 now or wait a bit for possibly a new gear coming?

I saw an article yesterday about the possibility of a new Gear S4 that may be called a Galaxy Watch. Should be more news on this in the weeks ahead.

problem is, all the new gear are so expensive. I'm just now getting to where I'm willing to pay for an S3. Costco has a good deal recently, but I didn't jump on it. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go with an LTE version or just BT. My S2 is 3G and I love having the security of using it as a cell phone in case I'm ever in a jam. The monthly service charge goes up too though on the SECOND. I only pay $5 month for a plan on my S2
