Samsung Gear s3 speaker problems

[AC Question]

I've had this smartwatch for a couple days now and I tried calling through the watch. The other person can hear me but I can't hear them. It seems that there's something wrong with my speaker.

I rebooted it, played around with the volume control and settings, even used my home phone to test it out several times, AND I CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM. I really hope this isn't a manufacturing issue because I don't think I can return it/get a refund. Please help, thanks!

My sister had the same problem with her Gear S3 smartwatch. I was able to figure out what the problem was, though. It turned out the watch was set to turn off all sounds. Go to the accessibility settings, then hearing, and make sure you turn off the "turn off all sounds" setting. Hope that helped.
