Samsung Gear S3

I am able to get the gear plugin and app to install but I am not able to get the Samsung pay gear plugin to install. It says my phone is not compatible. Is anyone else having this issue? I did a factory reset and the issue remains.

That's very possible, Pay seems to be very particular what it runs on. Will probably need an update to Gear I would imagine.

Did you try getting the apk from apkmirror? You can download it from there externally and allow install from unknown sources in setting and then install it manually and it should work. The latest plugin is 1.5.1305

the site says incompatible for me as well. I have not attempted to pursue help further yet.

this is going to fall under Samsung needing to update the pay plug in for the essential phone.
