AC Question
Hi, I am about to buy a Samsung Gear VR tomorrow from a person I met online in an online selling site. He is just selling this for a fraction of the price, like 75% off from the $99.99 retail price so I guess this is too big of a deal, given that I'll give this as a gift to my godson. So, considering that I have little knowledge on the Gear VR, I have the below following questions hopefully you can answer in detail for the product testing tomorrow.
1) I am looking for the latest version of the Gear VR, seeing that there are a LOT of models since 2014, what is the latest version/model number of the Gear VR? Where is it written on the box? I'm looking for the latest one that came with the Samsung S7 Edge.
2) What should I check for in a legit product? How would I know if it is a fake? Like something copied from China of some sort?
3) What should I look out for in damages that are not easy to find? Like maybe scratches on the goggles/screen? Charging issues? Anything people who owns this product find problematic? Tips perhaps?
4) Since I'm just bringing my older S6 Edge, what should I do first in testing the product? I mean anyone can teach me how to manipulate and make the product work?
Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate this.
