Samsung GS7edge - Verizon Users Thread

He said that the 3G hotspot he's been using was doing the job adequately, so any sort of upgrade will likely be gravy.

I have been seeing a lot of complaints about Nougat on the S7E... The push toward white/light colors (I can't stand white), features removed from stock apps, battery life in the crapper... I think I may stay away from it when it finally does come to Verizon customers.

Everyone has different needs and likes. I myself really enjoy Nougat on my S7 Edge. I could never go back to Marshmallow and I am only on beta 1. I cannot wait for the final release.

I am ready to give N a try... wish we would get it someday. LOL

Is it Friday YET???

I guess we will see now if VZ can get the update out before the 3/29 s8 reveal

August 22, 2016 was Nougat release, 6+ months ago

Having been a VZ customer for years you know how slow they are pushing out updates to flagship phones so us getting Nougat last is nothing new but it is still amazing imho just when you think VZ couldn't possibly get any worse with their updates that they can always find a way to lower that bar even further

Them pulling out of Beta and no news about update progress after att, sprint, and tmobile got it not giving me a warm feeling.

Doesn't say a date or anything. Just talks about Nougat.

Usually when you see that page updated on VZ wireless that relates to your specific phone model it means the update will be released soon, but this is VZ we are speaking about so temper your expectations
