YeahEh, who knows.... I’m honestly ok with 3 years of updates. I mean 4 would be nice but it’s all good dude. Hahah.
Who's battery is going to last more than 3 years anyway?
I think that would be more of a issue if you had a note 2 looking for battery at this momentYeah, that's the unfortunate/frustrating reality of everything as well! We all sometimes forget about battery shelf-life/longevity...

If your device 3 years old and looking for battery should be fine .

Probably a safe bet, though, that folks don't have their Kindles turned on and used all day every day...That's the magic of the sealed batteries the industry has convinced us to embrace..... they can construct a battery to last as short or long as they want... so they can basically control the usable lifespan of a phone, knowing that most folks will buy a new phone over having a battery replaced. Its interesting that $1500 phones have trouble with a battery lasting 3 years, yet we have every iteration of Amazon's Kindles in our household that have been abused beyond belief, including the very first model (which is 8-9 years old I believe?), and they ALL work fine with no battery issues whatsoever. $1500 phone every 3 years vs $50 Kindle every 8+..... things that make you go hmm![]()
