Samsung halts Galaxy S21 One UI 4.0 update

As most of us have already seen, there is currently a hiatus in updates for the Galaxy S21 series with many having not received the December 2021 Android Security patch, to-date.

"[FONT=&quot]Samsung is temporarily pulling the plug on the [/FONT]Android 12[FONT=&quot] One UI 4.0 update for the [/FONT]Galaxy S21[FONT=&quot] series in [/FONT]South Korea[FONT=&quot], as per a recent announcement issued by a Samsung Community Moderator (via [/FONT]TizenHelp[FONT=&quot]). According to it, a few devices are experiencing an error due to compatibility issues with Google Play.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]The One UI 4.0 rollout won’t resume until Google and Samsung solve the issue. It sounds like the problem may not lie entirely with Samsung, or at all, but whatever the case may be, they are working hard to resume the One UI 4.0 firmware rollout as soon as possible."

The last update that the Korean model, G99*N, had was the BUKG release with November security patch.

BUKG was Android 12/one UI 4, wasn't it? So received there will have it...

BUKG was the so-called bugfix update for Android 12, One UI 4. This puts the Koreans 2 updates behind Europe. The Google Play Store issue has been present for, "some", people since Android 12 first rolled out.

I'm new to the S21 + as of today. Just picked it up this morning.
