So I have a Gear Fit2 and took it for a test run on a hike today. I programed the SHealth in the watch to hike, and MapMyRun in my phone to hike as well. At the end of it I ended up with pretty different results, and I'm not sure who's more accurate.

In SHealth I recorded a distance of 1.22mi and a highest elevation of 3235ft.
In MapMyRun I recorded 2.05mi and a highest elevation of 3125ft.

That's a pretty big difference....thoughts? I'd like to only use one app when I go out, on my watch...preferably the more accurate one.

Did you have the gps toggled on for the fit? Assuming both had GPS on, that's odd. Maybe do a test on a route that you have driven and noted the mileage.

Yes, GPS was one of the first things I toggled on, for the Fit. I'll try your idea tonight or tomorrow. That seems like the most logical solution to figuring out which one is more accurate. Will post results when I do.
