If I hold and press the attached area to paste it doesnt work correctly. It shifts to the toolbar area and then one has to press and hold again to paste. Screenshot_20190326-132425_Samsung Internet.jpeg

There's no textbox, textarea or anything else at that spot that can accept a paste. Pasting isn't done to the screen, it's done to the app.

For what it's worth, that also happens on the Google.com website on Chrome, using my 2013 Nexus 7 running Marshmallow.

Google never used to have the news feed built in either. If you single tap the search it does the same thing long pressing does. This is a Google change for the mobile site, desktop site works fine.

What I'm saying is that before I could press and hold/ paste in depicted area. Now I cant. So google messed it up?

They must have changed how the mobile site works. I know what you mean and it's totally different now.

On mine it looks like it wants to share as the first option. I wonder of there's a setting somewhere to change that.

Here's a screen shot of both. The first shows options with a long press. The second is a second long press to get copy, paste, etc.
