I have an old speaker dock for an iPhone4; it is a 32 pin dock that both charges and feeds music from the iPhone to the speakers. I've used it fine for years.
Recently, I replaced the iPhone with a Samsung J3. I bought an adapter so the J3 could charge--a 32 pin to micro USB. It charges fine but will not play music through it. Fine (the reviews said as much). I figured I would be able to use a male to maie plug wire to connect the J3 to the speakers. When docked, nothing. When I take the J3 out of the dock, the speakers work great.
Is there a way to get this to both charge AND play music at the same time?
