Samsung J5 2016 (J510FN) - WiFi issue

Hi everyone,

I've a J5 2016 and it's start having problem with wifi connection. I was not able to connect to my home wifi but on another android hotspot it was working. Now nothing works, I see all the Wifi available but keep jumping from Connecting../Saved/Connecting..

I've try to reboot, to make a factory reset without success.

Just to be sure about my home wifi settings I made also made a reset to factory even if it was working on all my other devices.

I decided to be more agressive so I flashed a Lineage rom Nougat 7.1, but the issue is still present. So now i'm thinking about hardware issue.

Have you ever seen this kind of problem?

It sure sounds like you did the software debugging steps I would have suggested. I agree it's time to look towards hardware. Under warranty? Contact Samsung....

You're right I'm french but leaving in the UK for now...

Any possibilities to do checks from the software side to know if the hardware is ok?

For the warranty would be a bit difficult I think. The phone is from a friend who just moved from Romania to UK, and I don't think she kept the bill and everything ... not sure the date of purchase right now. Must check ASAP.
