Android Central Question

There is no talk to text microphone on my Samsung Galaxy s9+ keyboard. Usually there would be one either just to the left of the space bar or on the space bar if pressed and held but it is non existent save in the query bar before typing a letter but the moment you type a letter it disappears. How the hell do I get it back where it is supposed to be or is it just no longer available with updated keyboards? Yes it's been restarted hundreds of times, yes google typing and voice input is set to automatic, restoring to default does nothing, reinstalling does nothing, phone settings has no indication on changing just that feature, within samsung keyboard settings doesn't list any options for this and gboard is far worse them samsungs keyboard. Anyone with real help please reply

On my Note 8 the Samsung keyboard either shows the toolbar or the special key by the space bar. It sounds like you want to disable the toolbar.

To disable the keyboard.
1) Click the gear icon on the toolbar.
2) Click on "Keyboard layout and feedback".
3) Disable "Keyboard toolbar".
