Samsung Keyboard: Special signs are printed twice no matter which character follows

AC Question

In some applications/forms in browser it happens that when I type a special character followed by a number or a letter, the keyboard just resumes the special character.
E.g., when I try to type "abc.def" it does "abc..ef". I could also do "abc!def" and it does "abc!!ef".

This only happens when I activate the automatic text completion. It seems that the keyboard assumes that after a special character, another one must follow.

I first noticed this bug on 07.10.2016. I didn't change anything. I already deleted the application data, but it didn't change.

Phone: Galaxy S7
Samsung-Keyboard Version: 1.3.22
Android Version: 6.0.1

Hey!

If you serach this forum for "Repeating first letter when typing on Samsung Galaxy keyboard" you'll find the advice to deactivate Android system Web View.
I tried it (S7) and it fixed the problem!
I hope this will be a lasting solution.
