Samsung keyboard

Maybe I'm missing something, but is the Samsung keyboard a love/hate kind of thing? It absolutely refuses to allow me to capitalize words on the first attempt. It always reverts the first letter to lower case, upon which I have to erase and retype it. For whatever reason, it also ads a space and starts sentences with a lower case letter about 75% of the time in text messages. It's very annoying.

However, I really like the crisp look and feel of the Samsung keyboard. I went back to the Google keyboard because of the above problem and find it plain ugly. Does anyone know if any setting to fix the above issues? I've looked and can find nothing.

That's a good question bc I too like the Samsung keyboard. I'll stay tuned to your post and hope that someone gives you a tip. Thanks for posting.

I can't stand any keyboard, besides SwiftKey. Download and try it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised

Hmm. Mine doesnt do that but it liles to change and auto correct things to the wrong word often. Usually common stuff I type often, which I figured it would learn from my habits and remember.

I just wish I could remove the number bar from the top of Samsung when it's the letters. My fingers are apparently fat.

Download Fleksy and give it a try. Very good predictive. free.

You can change the settings to not display the numbers above.

I switch back and forth between the Samsung keyboard, Gboard, and Swiftkey. I actually find Swiftkey to be the weakest of the 3. Swiftkey used to be the undisputed king but others have caught up. Gboard is a little better than Swiftkey now. Samsung keyboard (for me) is the most consistent and reliable keyboard. Ymmv

SwiftKey is the better keyboard it's customizable to the way you need it give it a try.

I like the look but ultimately eventually just go to Gboard all black - swipe is much more accurate I find Samsung too aggressive and incorrect

I just downloaded swift key and I like it. I had always been using gboard but swift key I'm liking. I've chosen my colored keyboard and the sounds I like. It has a lot of options. So far I like it. It's a change from gboard for sure.

It's pretty good. I've always used gboard and a certain theme and everything. This is my first different keyboard to try in years other than using Apples. Before I switched over to android I was exclusive apple and only knew their keyboard. When I changed to android or gave android a try I began with gboard and have uaed it for a little over a year now until swift key just now. Here's my swift key set up.
