Samsung Kies GNote 2 Problem

I plugged my AT&T G-Note 2 into Samsung Kies & it tells me that my "Current firmware is NOT supported". Has anyone else had this issue, what exactly does that mean? Thanks!!

It means there is no update available for the Note II. When one becomes available, kies will be updated to a newer version and your Note will be supported and updated.

You should be able to do all other things, backup, sync to windows media player, drag and drop, etc. I do it all the time.
