Samsung Kies or Kies Mini not working.

I tried both of these programs. Downloaded Kies mini from an older Captivate thread. And the Normal 2.0 Samsung Kies. Both programs tell me the device isnt supported. Kies was always worthless. Anyone found a fix for this? That Update they pushed out I never recieved. Even rebooting and clearing the device management still hasnt givin me results. Anyone else not recieving there little 8mb update?

I searched for updates yesterday but phone said it was up to date and check again in 24 hours. I know I haven't downloaded it yet. I'm rooted with some att apps frozen, but have seen others still able to do the update with the same.
