I don't understand the purpose of these LED flip cases other than to make more money. Your phone lets you see incoming calls, the music your playing, notifications and whatever else that case offers. What's next? A HD, 2k or 4k LED Flip Case. Then your no longer going to need the screen your phone came with. Then your going need a case protector for your flip case. Can someone explain the real benefits, if any, of this flip case. I want to get a flip case I just don't know which is a good one.

I think the s view case is nice, but since my phone is in a holder when im in a car, a flip cover would actually get in the way. I use radarscope and other apps while im driving, so a flip case wont work for me.

I think the flip case is more for style than anything, and they (who ever they are) decided to make some information easy to see at a glance, but style is probably the leading factor.

I see no point in the LED case either. I did purchase the S View case and have been using it for over a month now. It works perfectly for my uses and protects the screen at the same time. The sides are exposed but the cover extends over the sides so I doubt that any damage will come to the sides from them not being fully covered. You can do basic tasks such as answering/declining a call, controlling music and turning on the flashlight.

I think what's truly missing though is the ability to make a call from the S View window with small dialing pad. That would have made the window outstanding.
