Wow. Another issue for me since the UI 2.0 update. When I first updated, I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I tried to start a new text message in Samsung Messages, if I started typing a name, it would bring up the available numbers as well if it was a mobile, home, or work number. Which was great because I was tired of guessing and finding out I was texting a house phone. Now it no longer shows that. Anyone know if that was a setting or what is going on?

You can try reset it by clearing data, cache, force stop it

No go. I'm about to give up on this phone after that update
There's couple other things to try
Reset your app preference, go settings >apps>3 dots upper rightcorner tap> scroll to reset app preferences.
The other is settings>general imput>reset>reset settings

By available numbers ...if it shows three numbers for John Doe....does it also tell you which is the mobile number, which is the home number, and which is the work?

Mine shows available numbers and home/ mobile e.t.c. and I'm updated.

I just reset the phone for the I don't know how many times. It finally seems to have fixed this issue. now I have to see if it also fixed the edge people issue
