The version of Samsung Messages on my note 9 is quite different to that on my note 8, and had me perplexed as to where all the features like delay sending etc were. Well I've found them now, and thought I'd assist anyone else looking for them.
I downloaded Mood Messenger on my phone to use to replace Samsung Messages but I prefer to use what's already on the device. Without having to download extra apps. Samsung Messages recently removed the option to have a customized background for Conversations. I hope they bring it back.I have used Textra for a long time. I am interested to know from folks who use/prefer Samsung Messages... What is it about Samsung Messages (especially the current version) that folks prefer over other text apps? I tried it for a bit, but it seems to be very very basic and lacking many customization options of most SMS apps nowadays(things like colors, styles, notification options, etc..

I just started back using Samsung messages last year after textra and mood started giving me issues with sending pictures. Minus the lack of customization options I feel like Samsung messages has greatly improved compared to how it used to be and that's why I continued to use it.I have used Textra for a long time.
