Samsung Music Lock Screen widget disappeared

Hi All,

When I first got the phone, I was able to have samsung music widget show up on my pattern lock screen (by default). Then it started to only show up sporadically. I noticed I was able to get it to come back by going into task manager and disabling google play music which was running in the background. Now the widget never shows up on my lockscreen and I don't see google play music running in the background when I open the task manager.

The widget does show up if I disable security lock but wanted to see if there was a way to have the widget and a secured lock screen. Anybody have the same issue? I can't get a widget to appear on the lockscreen whether I'm playing music with google play or samsung.

What I would do is root your phone and install cyanogenmod. I have never had a problem out of this ROM and the music widget is always on the lock screen when I play music.

I had the same problem. Just download winamp to play your music, it has lock screen controls and is free.

The Samsung Music widget has always been sporadic for me. It may or may not show up and I don't know which circumstances are needed to make it show
