Samsung Music showing old album art

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and recently changed the album art of some songs, but when I tried playing them it shows the previous artwork.

I've made sure that my files have the proper album art in my computer and that they are properly tagged, but after copying them again the old artwork is still displayed.

Any solution?

P.S. I've already deleted the files at /Android/data/com.android.providers.media/albumthumbs

Try the "BlackPlayer" from Google play store. Album art can be updated or create your own art. I have tried lots of music players and always return to this one.
