Samsung Note 10 Keyboard on Ui 2.1

Hi Guys.



I've recently updated to the new Samsung One Ui 2.1 update and use the Samsung Keyboard.

I'm loving the new changes but I'm wanting to get rid of the settings icon at the bottom Lh side underneath the actual keyboard on my Note 10.

It's super annoying if I inadvertently tap on it !

Go to settings>display>notification bar> turn off show button to hide keyboard

Is the keyboard better? I keep trying to use it but it's so bad right now.

For me it is.

The space bar seems bigger so I'm not hitting the full stop button as much.

My keyboard had been working great for months but after this update it is absolutely terrible. It never learns anything either no matter how many times I type a word. Anyone else having this issue?

You been hitting the check mark to learn your words ?

Yes I have, but some times the check never even appears. The keyboard just seems extremely off on it's prediction.

I know it happened to me also after 2.1 update and took about few days correcting now seems fine , maybe try Google Gboard which is pretty good .

Me too (no #). First time on this phone (10+) an update had really changed anything functional. What the heck Samsung? Predictions, added words, etc. all way off/gone (shortcuts are still there). Auto-correct is like a possessed demon. It does seem to wrap long words in the prediction bar (e.g. an email address) which is nice a nirce addition but at what expense? Probably not undoable with a patch either. Also, the button to the right end of the prediction bar provides different functions now. Not sure yet if better. Could've at least given us some more symbols, lol. Or a permanent shortcut to the "text editing" screen.
