Samsung note 2 LCD/Digitizer on note 3?

So I kinda landed on my phone's screen with my **** & surprisingly though, when I took it out of my back pocket the screen wasn't shattered but the LCD was or the digitizer. So I was thinking, before getting a new replacement LCD maybe I can try to clip on my note 2's LCD to see if my note 3 is still functioning. (It vibrates when I turn it on & the notification light still works) but idk if they're compatible. Halp?

And, unless you've had experience working inside cellphones before, you'll probably end up with a non-working Note 3 b3cause you did something wrong. (We see posts like that here every day. "I replaced the screen, now my phone <does something wrong>."
