Samsung Note 3 Password Lockout

Hi, I am locked out of my Samsung Note 3. I setted some password while configuring an app, and now cant recall it. Is there any way to recover the password without hard reset

Welcome to Android Central! It would help to know what the password was for. Is it the lockscreen password, or do you have some 3rd party privacy or file locker app?
