Samsung Note 4 Screen Glitch

Starting around 7 am this morning, the screen to my Note 4 started glitching, almost as if someone else was using my phone. I wiped the screen off thinking that there was something on the screen. That didn't work. Well around 8 am, I decided to do a hard reset, and that did not work either. Has anyone had this problem before and if so what did you to fix the problem? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It may be the screen failing. Do you have a local repair shop that can confirm this?

Yes there is one not far from me. I hope it's not too expensive.
