I PM you!I just noticed the S21 Ultra is $500 for the Tmobile version if I trade in my Note 20 ultra. I know the Spen isn't built in BUT for better camera and processor should I jump all over this?
Thats pretty good trade in price , congrats !Decided to trade in the Note for the S21 Ultra since they're offering $700. Can't pass that up plus $25 off it. Unlocked is out of stock for awhile so I just got the Tmobile version.
Also since there is no Note 21 this year and I'm not spending almost 3 grand on the Fold 3 and fragile screen.
Hopefully a Note device with built in Spen comes out with the S line next feb to cure my craving.

Yeah no Note 21 this year![]()
I don't believe the Note won't be here next yearI personally don't think the Fold 3 will have a built in Spen this year. I'm thinking next year and it replaces the Note in Aug.
With no Note coming out this year IMO most of the other Note fans on here will cave and get the S21 Ultra just because they want the newest device and yearly upgrade! Wait until June rolls around and everyone has the itch. I cant see us on here holding out 2 years for a new Note or Fold with built in Spen.

I like the Fold also , but at that price it's not going sell well yet , and it will take at least 4 years more to become more main stream and become more like how Note line is , Samsung don't have the luxury to delete the Note line this quick and risk what can the Fold do for them . This of course my opinion , no one thought LG would go down they sell TV and appliances that can keep their phone line afloat but didn't, Samsung should be careful on how they approach this.It could, but I think next year will be the last year of the "note"
It's not really dying though totally. I just think the Fold will be their premium Spen device.
I would buy the Fold once I know all the kinks are worked out of it and more durable cases.
If they're marketing the Fold to be their most premium device I just don't see them having 3 different flag ship lineups simply from a business and cost standpoint.
That was smart thinking with the Spen for the S line with no Note out to satisfy us Note fans.
The Fold looks neat though, but I wanna wait another year before I get one spending that kind of $$$$$. if next years has built in Spen I'm on it!
It seems about 40-50 percent of the Note users on this site usually pre order the latest S phones, then switch back to the Note, then switch back to the S every six months lol
I think they have the best trade inSamsung's trade in program FTW
Congrats, I don't have a s21 so I'll let others chime in on the S- pen for that.Got my phone around 4pm! TWO fed ex trucks drove around at around 1 though. Charged it up but haven't had a chance to transfer yet. Will do that later tonight.
I like the bigger spen compared to the smaller one that comes inside the Note phone. Easier to grip.
So do you guys carry your spen in your pocket? Any issues with it falling out of your pocket or breaking?

Could be , lot of theories on this but we definitely know by next year .I wish it was built in. I think the reason why it wasn't built in was because it was a last minute thing. IMO they probably planned to have the Note originally but the shortages and they saw they couldn't pump a Note out in time so they included an Spen to hold things over until next year.
I rarely used S-pen on my Note so didn't get the S-pen for S21 Ultra. Didn't Samsung make a case for S21 Ultra that you could put your s pen in? May be you can look into that.Got my phone around 4pm! Yeah Samsungs version of that case is a lint magnet, Spigen makes a spen case that is better imo and cheaper in price.I rarely used S-pen on my Note so didn't get the S-pen for S21 Ultra. Didn't Samsung make a case for S21 Ultra that you could put your s pen in? May be you can look into that.
