Samsung orders delayed

No update and I've gotten 2 of the "Your order has been delayed" emails in the last week. I don't think I'm getting it on May 23. The S23 Ultra will be out by the time I get this phone haha.

lol... I only received 1 email 4 days ago saying there is no change and the delivery date is on 5/24, lets see what happens.

Ordered May 4th. White 256GB. Initial delivery date was May 14th. Last week moved to May 24th. Today, June 1st. :-\

Which did you order? We ordered Verizon S22 Ultra's Saturday night and they say we will get then the 27th.

Can't take it as definitely delay... My order was from initial date of May 17th to June 1st and now it's tomorrow with a FedEx track number confirming it.

Wonder why there are so many delays from Samsung's online ordering. Is it the company they use to deliver(FedEx it seems), or is it a popularity/supply thing with the phones themselves being out of stock?

That's a good question. I think it's a combination of all those factors.

My guess is that they produce certain colors and configurations in batches. And the delays may be due to demand... if not enough demand they will push the batches back. There could be supply shortage factor in there but doubt a major issue... never a huge delay with black or burgundy right??

They've always made people wait for the high cap models... like 512GB and 1TB units.

I would figure Burgundy would be in short supply, I looked at that in store and it looked sharp and professional. Black is so common and safe these days so it doesn't surprise me to see plenty of that in stock.

I only think Burgandy because it is the only display model I ever see at retail stores whether BB or ATT or Verizon store so just assuming that's the one they want to sell and keep in stock besides Black.

and now my order is scheduled for June 1. Lord knows they already have my money lol

and just like that, my June 1 delivery date is happening May 26. got an email saying the device has shipped.
