Samsung Pay doesn't support Mastercard?

What bank is the card issued from? You have to see if Samsung pay supports the bank.

It supports Mastercard. Like James said, it's dependent on the bank that issues the specific card.

It is a debit Master card, it's a gift card though... Not really experienced with cards, been using cash my whole life..

I doubt it's going to support that. It's made for your credit and debit cards that are associated with a bank. It's not made for prepaid stuff like that.

Exactly. It's dependent on the bank support, not the card itself.

not that it didn't work before, it's because of the bank that doesn't support it, just like what the helpful peeps said
