Samsung Pay Error Message - WTF?

Been using SP for a while now, initially with my S2 and now my S3. The other day I went to pay for my lunch and saw this:

The watch had a Bluetooth connection to the phone at the time, and the phone had Internet connectivity. I ended using SP on my phone to pay for lunch, which worked normally.

Later that day the problem went away on its own and hasn't been back since.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue lately with AMEX too. I removed the card and add it again. It is working now.

Last week I had it require me to sign in from my phone to use Samsung pay... The only time I tried using it without my phone! Figures.

used mine three times now. 1) using the Samsung Gift card 2) using my Chase Credit card. No issues very fast! LOVE IT!

I have used mine a bunch of times, then, out of nowhere I go to use it, not there, tells me to log in on the phone, then add a new card. Started it over like I never even had it on the watch.

Just used Samsung Pay for the first time at Walmart this weekend. Super fast, flawless. I freakin' love this watch! Now if I could just settle on a watch face and if Facer didn't eat the battery...
