Samsung Pay new banks

This morning I saw some new banks added to Samsung Pay. I want pleased to be able to add my other card on there that I've been waiting to. Too bad that nice Visa checkout promo is over lol.

Still waiting on PayPal. That will be awesome once it's finally added on.

The more I use Samsung pay the more impressed I am by it.

I went to 4 different stores today and every single one had a sign up chip reader down. Then they tell me oh phones aren't working to pay. I said run it. Went through. They were like how is that possible. I said this isn't no I-Phone it's a Samsung Note 8! The look on their faces.

I have been having the opposite experience lately. NFC always works but mst rarely works now. Walmart, which had always worked, recently stopped, doesn't even register on the tellers side. It's about a 75% fail rate using mst.

When you try to pay at Walmart.. How do you select the payment type? I have 100% success rate at Walmart and Sam's Club they have the same readers. What I do is have it run through as a debit enter the pin no problem the phone works as well as the frontier gear S3 Watch Works.

For me, I like it because I don't have to ever look for a tap pay symbol.

I have tried both debit and credit on different terminals. It always worked until this week.

It basically works the same with nfc but you can also use it at pos terminals that don't have nfc. Plus you get bonus points that you can trader for Visa cards, drawings, or gear.

I make probably 25 to 35 dollars a mpnth using it, in Samsung visa rewards. You can also get discounted gift cards for dining etc

For me the best factor is allk I need to look for is an easily accessible card slides. If I see one, it'll work for me no matter what register type or card reader type.

Also, it works at the pump where you normally insert a card. For me I insert my license to activate the reader then hold my phone up-works like a charm.

Yeah. No non NFC terminals here.
No SP rewards here coupled with only 6 small banks supported ( None of the top 6 in the country in the list ) make it a non starter.

No chip and pin / NFC tap and pay seems a backward step.
