Now that I think about it... the only devices the O Beta would be out for are Google devices, Samsung Pay doesn't work on those to begin with...

I'm have a pixel XL with a Samsung Galaxy gear S3. So I installed the Android O Beta and now I don't have Samsung Pay anymore on my watch.

It's probably an incompatibility with the highest API for the Samsung Pay app being N.

I'm in this exact boat -- and I just had this thought. Searched the forums -- found this post. and that confirms it.
Going to revert to N and see if it works. Thanks for this!

I seriously doubt Samsung pay would work with any beta platform to high of a security risk

It works great on Android Nougat 7.1.2 but got the official Android Oreo 8.0 last night and Samsung pay keeps failing. Going to contact Samsung pay support today. Hope this is resolved soon

Considering that O isn't out for Samsung phones yet, seems normal to expect this.
