Samsung Pay Oddity

I had Samsung Pay all set up and regularly used it on my S7. When I got my S9+ and transferred everything it worked great. Then today, after a couple of weeks, I went to make a payment and was greated with the "Welcome" and setup screen. I put the phone away and used plastic. When I got to my car, I got the message that X cards had been imported. Exited S Pay and drove home. When I got home, opened S Pay and found I had to re-verify my cards.
Seems that from one day to the next S Pay "forgot" everything?

I switched from an s7 to s9+ as well. All my cards transferred over but I believe I did have to re-verify my bank card. It also assigned a new virtual number for the card. No issues otherwise.

I think you have to verify again because the cc number it assigns to your purchases (which is not the actual number on the card) is only usable on that device.

Odd that they worked for 2 weeks. After the transfer, I did have to re-enter my fingerprint and PIN.
