They go to the banks directly, which takes everyone out of the mix. That info comes from my discussions with Google and Samsung Pay. There is nothing for a carrier to enable, this is something that is not carrier dependent, just like Android Pay.

And you're sure Samsung doesn't withhold the app unless the carrier can certify or demonstrate that the phone is locked down to Samsung's satisfaction?

Is the gesture a single finger swipe up? On Nova Prime, two finger swipe up to access settings in Nova Prime.

The swipe up is from the border between the edge of the screen and the home button. If you use Nova and have some gestures set already it may confuse you, so I'd advise to delete the Swipe up gesture from Nova if you are planning to use S Pay.

This is false advertisement or bait and switch. They announce the offer but when you register, activate and add a card successfully, they automatically remove the offer so they don't have to fulfill this promotion. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I'm glad people took screen shots of this promotion. Keep them so if Samsung denies it, we have proof the offer did exists. We also have the time stamps on the screen shots because it's hard to believe they already ran out in the first couple of minutes of the offer.

You talking about the line that Verizon is giving? Verizon wants their customers to use Android Pay and will likely put Samsung Pay off as long as they can.

Everyone already did their testing, Verizon didn't.

Changed Nova Settings gesture to pinch in and swipe up, both one and two finger, to None.

But even the offer online says to check the announcements section of the app to redeem.

Don't get me wrong.. I'm not saying it's lawsuit worthy..just that they don't quite have their [language removed by mod] together yet.

I never was accepted for the beta, but finally had the install option in the app this morning. Couldn't add my Cabelas visa, so I added my BofA debit card, and that was it.

It wasn't until later, when I opened the app again that the offer popped up... but the announcements section is empty.

Having watched the intro video, two finger swipe up should be fine for Nova settings as the Samsung Pay video shows a single finger swipe up.

You'd be surprised how shady Samsung is. They had employees actually eat documents to destroy evidence before investigators made their way into their headquarters. lol

This is the info I got from a support chat with Samsung...

We are aware this morning that the promotion site is not currently working properly. We are working on the issue, and the Announcement has been turned off. The in-app popup however, is still being displayed. We are working on shutting that off as well.
The Offer will be Turned ON soon and you will receive the Pop Up in Samsung pay as soon as it activates.

Any luck today? Ive seen others that got it installed, but couldn't activate the credit card. Its almost like Verizon likes to make news by holding on things.

They are shady but you are going to put your debit and credit card info in their app?
