I haven't been able to add my usaa cards yet so I'm guessing it is not fully pushed out

Re: Samsung Pay Officially Released!

I'm trying to understand the bank/card limitation. None of my VISA or MC cards work. Are they saying that I must have both a supported bank and a supported card type? So if you have a VISA card it must be from BofA or Citi? That seems very limiting. I'm sure the technology is interesting, but it's just a small subset of users who could actually make use of it under those circumstances.

For right now it is limited to those banks, no idea about what banks when it goes live tomorrow.

Re: Samsung Pay Officially Released!

Managed to download but it fails to accept any of my cards. I'm using credit and debit MC from Capital One and a Google wallet card. If this only works with Citi and BOA, then it's utter garbage as far as I'm concerned

Re: With Verizon? Want Samsung Pay?

Maybe Verizon just didn't participate in the beta testing. Let's hope we Verizon users will be able to download and use Samsung Pay on September 28th.

Samsung Pay app is being released tonight. Verizon still hasn't said as of now, they will allow it.

Whenever I try to add a card it says registration failed... Wtf? Tried adding debit or credit from Capital One or a Google card.

I'm not sure about all cards yet, just know that Bank of America and my Amex got added, no issue.

Because I called the people at Samsung Pay. The cards it currently supports are:
Bank of America: Consumer credit & debit - Visa or Mastercard
Bank of America: Small business (owner cards) - Visa
Merrill-Lynch: Consumer - Visa or Mastercard
U.S. Trust: Consumer - Visa or Mastercard
U.S. Bank: Consumer - Visa

Everything else should go live at 3pm central 9/28

Figured it wouldn't support any of my cards. Guess I'm sticking with android pay for now

But what is everything else? I'm having a hard time finding any documentation on all the supported banks.
