Samsung Pay On Phone & Gear S3 - Successes & Failures

Hello Everyone!!!! I wanted to start a thread about the places where you've used Samsung Pay on your phone and the Gear S3 and what places have been a success and failure. Please list the places where you've used Samsung Pay and where it worked and the places you've used Samsung Pay and where it didn't work.

Worked at Target, Express Eye Mart, CVS, Harris Teeter
So far, no instances of it not working.

I have never been able to get Samsung Pay to work at Walmart on the phone, yesterday the watch wouldnt work at Under Armour brand store, it did work on a vending maching this morning :shrugs:

Just used it at whole foods. Worked perfectly. But I always use Android pay, and I held it over the NFC section, not the CC swiper. Next time I go to Target I'll try the swiper. Love paying with my watch!!!

I'm always dubious that its going to work, but it hasn't failed me yet. I was in Banana Republic tonight and started to pay with my watch and the associate said, "Oh, Apple Pay doesn't work here." I proceeded to still try and pay and she furthered, "I know the machine says it should work, but it doesn't work here yet." And then... shock and amazement when my payment went through. I kept trying to explain to her that it was Samsung Pay. She said I taught her something.

Payed at Target. That was great, since they block Android pay to try and push their horrible qr code based payment system.

At Acme Supermarket it caused the POS terminal to crash with an error code and then the register locked up and had to be powered down (has happened two separate occasions)...was told they do Apple Pay but not Samsung Pay...I had to go to the Manager's booth to finish paying :-0

At a CVS the clerk stopped me and said, "Is that CVS PAY?"...I was like, what, CVS Pay? She told me they only accept CVS PAY, not Apple Pay or others....strange as others have reported it works....I suspect it's just more clerks that haven't been trained or misunderstand what's up.....

It seems to work majority time I use it but did not work at my doctor's office & a store that had the credit card strip attached on top/side of the computer monitor. At my doctor's office it seemed to go through then it didn't. At the store it didn't pick up spay at all.

I used mine yesterday at the Fossil store to pay for a watch band for my son. They had a whole display of their AW watches (which didn't look bad actually). After I paid at the register the sales person said she thinks that's the first time anyone had paid for something in their store with a watch .. some irony there. (and she did like the way the samsung looked).

Had my first fail at Bevmo. Tried 3 times & all failed. But it worked when I used my GS7E on first try.
