Samsung Pay on the gear s2

Did this ever happen? If so how do you install it? If not why do they show this on the gear s2 page?

Not to my knowledge, at least in the US. I use Samsung Pay and have a Gear S2. I haven't seen any options to use Samsung Pay on my Gear S2.

I read somewhere that it might be in beta testing, but I don't think it's available publicly anywhere yet. Samsung has only said "in 2016."

Seems like a missed opportunity. The few times I've used Samsung Pay, it's worked well. Not having to take my phone at to pay would be even better than not having to take out my wallet.

Been using the Huawei Watch, which also lacks payments. Here's to 2016, when payments come to our wrists.*

Seeing it's nfc only, it would be funny to get Android pay on it first!

If it only works on NFC readers and not regular magnetic tape readers then it kills the Samsung Pay magic.

Exactly. Any nfc tap and pay service should work. If they allow it.
