Samsung pay problems

When I try to setup Samsung pay on my watch, it says it needs to update. However Samsung pay is the latest version on both my watch and my phone, therefore I can't update

Try rebooting your phone & try again. That fixed the Samsung Pay issue on my S3 Classic.

You have to update it from the gear manager app. Open gear manager and you'll see Samsung Pay near the bottom
