Samsung Pay - Promos

I have a U.S. based T-Mobile Note 8. Latest promo is to link Visa Checkout and you'll earn 2500 pts woth your purchase. Well, I thought I linked it, but I tried two small purchases yesterday and still didn't get the 2500 points. When I go into Samsung Pay it only shows the visa Rewards card with "Visa Checkout " on. I thought I had added my other bank card. I checked to update Samsung Pay and no updates seem available.

Any other promos I get without issue.

I click on Update but it Brina me to the Google Play page with option to update or uninstall.

Oh jeez. I think I see the issue. The cards I have on Samsung Pay are all MasterCard lol. I'll see if I have an igible Visa and try.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you've got to make a Visa checkout purchase on a mobile browser to get the 2,500 points, right? I have two cards linked to Visa checkout (three as of yesterday, since I redeemed 10,000 points for a rewards card), and I haven't gotten any points from my use of those cards at physical terminals.

I'm planning to just order Pizza Hut sometime this weekend. 2,500 points is $12.50. Not a bad deal!

I'm pretty sure it's through the mobile browser that's why they're pushing it through Samsung pay. At this point I don't have an eligible Visa card garnet I do have a Visa it's a Best Buy Citi Visa but it's not yet supported even though City Bank is

It has to be done through mobile browser. It'll immediately link through Samsung Pay. Sometimes it takes a few days for the reward points to be credited, but it surely will.

Purchases made with the Samsung's Rewards card will not get you points.

Try it. They only specified mobile browser. So anything should work.

You don't earn points ever by using samsung point gift cards.. I've been using them for over a year and not once have I ever earned points for the use of those Visa gift cards

You need to use it at a Visa checkout retailer like those listed on the site.. So a place like Papa John's in the US dues Visa checkout online

You need to use it on any online purchase from Visa checkout retailers. There is a list in the promo.. once you purchase something from those retailers use the Visa checkout option in the checkout process.. Like buying a pizza or paying for goods and if you liked your samsung pay with the Visa checkout service your all set

I hate to be callus here but when you click into the promo it prompts you to follow specific instructions on how to link the Visa checkout and Samsung pay then even gives you a link of places to shop online with any browser...just read the promo and it all makes sense

I'd already figured it out the other day. My cards are all MasterCard not Visa lol.

But it's more than that...the Visa checkout can be linked to a bank account and not a card as well..the main factor is setting everything up throw the Visa check out web page

FYI there's a new promo for using your linked Chase card 5 times for 2000 points.

i can not seem to get passed the "validating your account" stage

Just used it few minutes ago. Worked good. Received the points instantly. You do have to use the Samsung browser and link Samsung Pay within the browser.
