So I'm really enjoying my inexpensive Samsung A13 5G. It works nice with my Samsung laptop, tablet and buds. Let's face it though, it's no Pixel 6.

Which Samsung phone would come closest? I'm most interested in equivalent price, size, battery life and camera. Thanks for any suggestions!

I'd probably say the Samsung Galaxy S22 (not the Plus or Ultra). It's going for $799 unlocked from Samsung without trade-in.

Thank you.
I could probably only get $400 or so for my Pixel so looking for something closer in price.
Would the S21 still be a good choice?

The camera would be the tough part. Google works majic with the hardware

Depends which Pixel 6 the OP is referring to. The 6 non-Pro is 1080 just like the S21FE.

There is more to it than resolution as well. Both my s10e and oneplus 5 have 1080p screens, and both are better than the screen on the pixel 6. The pixel 6 screen is truly awful lol

I'm not especially worried about screen resolution. I want a screen I can read in sunlight. A good camera. Excellent battery life.

The S21 FE won't be any better outdoors in sunlight, since it has a similar screen as the regular Pixel 6.

Thank you Laura. It seems my combination of Samsung "needs" is hard to find at an affordable price like the P6.
You're welcome TgeekB. Unfortunately, the only new Samsung that comes to mind to me is the regular S22.

The plain Pixel 6. One thing I notice is its terrible outside in bright light. I can hardly see it.
None of the pixels I've owned were good in sunlight, Samsung flagship or iPhone I didn't have a issue, guess Google worried about display or screen burn I'm assuming.

My friend has an S20 FE and really loves it. Screen is good, cameras are decent. I still love the Pixel 6 series myself and don’t have issues in the sun when it is on maximum brightness.

The trouble is max brightness chews up battery. I'm going to try an anti-glare screen protector.

I'm going on vacation in less than a week. I'll take my Pixel 6. Then, I think, I may purchase the Galaxy s21 fe.

One of the other things I've done is turn off 5g on my P6. Battery life has improved about 50%. Incredible.
