Found some interesting news that should make some of you happy.
Apparently Samsung holds focus groups to determine how to process their photos to please the most people. This is why we get over exposed images with increased saturation and often times too much sharpening or smoothing destroying details. While this is most popular, Samsung knows not everyone likes it.
This won't help with the S21, but Samsung has plans to use AI so that our phones create photos to our liking. Our phone will learn what we like in a photo and produce results tailored for the individual instead of getting the same result from every phone.
So if you don't like the over exposed high saturated look, your phone will stop creating photos like that. You and a friend take a photo of the same scene and both phones will render the image differently.
I do suspect this will make camera reviews more difficult since you won't get the same result as the person reviewing the phone.
Either way interesting read about it on engadget.
