Honestly, Samsung did support. I walked in a Samsung service center in Singapore with my Galaxy S i9000 and they gave me a free upgrade to Froyo.

The problem is the US is the last country, thanks to the carriers, that is blocking the upgrades.

AT&T especially has a crappy record.

Note, the Dell Streak and the HTC Aria has both ongoing OTA updates to Froyo internationally, the Streak since last November and the Aria since December. These updates are about the same time as the international Galaxy S updates. Where are the upgrades to the AT&T Streak and Aria now?
