Samsung Remote TV App get error- "This app is incompatible with your AT&T Samsung SAMSUNG-SGH-I747"

I just brought a Samsung Galaxy S3 and wanted to download Samsung TV Remote app

for controlling my Samsung TV. Unfortunately I am not able to download. It shows a message "This app is incompatible with your AT&T Samsung SAMSUNG-SGH-I747".
I was an iPhone User and loved this app to control my TV from my iPhone. Its strange that Samsung don?t support the app it developed on its own device but supports the same app on its competitor?s phone.

It looks like the app hasn't been updated in almost a year. They may have abandoned the app.

You may want to try the Peel handset app. The tablet version works pretty well. I have it set up with my Samsung HDTV and Directv DVR.
