I purchased the Samsung Rugged cover and the OtterBox Symmetry clear from BestBuy.com and neither are rugged enough in my option and worth the price, I'll be returning them. Both feel like a minor step above a typical TPU case. I found a LifeProof Next case online and went to Sprint to check it out and it's definitely the thickest/most rugged clear case available that I've found. The LifeProof is ridiculously high at $79.99 but for a $1,100 phone maybe not.
I agree. The Lifeproof case in addition to being too expensive is just a tad bulky.
I usually prefer the Otterbox Defender or Generic one. That goes on ALL my phones. Currently I'm using an Armadilltek case I like a lot. Grippy and a bit less bulky than defender. It's a tough case too and wont wear out. I have the Unicorn Beetle Pro but it just feels cheap made compared to the Armadillo.
You know, you want a clear and heavily protective case. Well, you can find these on amazon. It's basically the Defender case except it's clear. I mean it's the exact same design as the Defender except it's a clear case. So it's a tad less bulky than the Lifeproof and identical to the Defender AND a ton cheaper too. These kind of cases range from $12-18 on Amazon usually.
