Question Samsung s 10 app question

Hi! I am new here and trying to work through 2 teenagers with phones. I keep seeing apps used in sequence on activity and am unsure what it is. Gmail. Facebook messenger, Android dialer, Android incallui, Android camera and often gallery. Is this a video call? I am ready to pull my hair out and denial is the game here thank you!

Those activities are all normal and u can end up pulling hair out trying to figure them all out lol
