Samsung S10 - Various Issues

I just got this phone and I'm already struggling with the features. I use the voice text feature all the time. When I go in to fix a type & click the cursor in position, the mic is still on and I have to take an extra step and click on the keyboard. With my S8, as soon as I clicked on the text, the mic would go off and the keyboard would pop up automatically.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hi let me see if I can get you in the right forum .

Why not use Bixby voice to text. When you open your keyboard to text you can click and hold the bixby button and talk. I use it all the time.

I'm just guessing, but they could have received more complaints than thanks about the the way the S8 did it, so they changed it. (Although since we're talking about Samsung, it's about as good a chance that they just flipped a coin to see which way to do it.)

I tried BV, but it doesn't work with Google Messages

If you are talking about google voice texting? then you have to disable "Samsung voice input" to get your "Google voice texting" back.

Go to Settings>Apps
Click on the 3 dots on the top right and click on "Show system apps"
After that scroll down to "Samsung voice input"
Force stop
Disabled it

That should get your "Google Voice texting" back in like Messages and other apps.
