Samsung S10 Verizon: Do Not Disturb keeps turning on. I do not have a schedule installed - already gone through going to manual only and it still happens. What can I do to keep this from happening? I've tried everything I have come across so far.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it come on at a certain time, or at random? Do you have any Bluetooth devices connected to the phone?

Thanks for welcoming me!:) I deleted all Bixby routines before I went to bed last night. I do use both Samsung Buds & Powerbeats Pro but, of course, neither were running overnight. When I awoke this morning, you guessed it! Do Not Disturb was active. It does it randomly, almost every overnight but it will also pop on out of the blue during the day. Help!!!:-X

Here's how the DND screen looks when it's not "active."

That looks all right.

As a test, try turning off Bluetooth on the phone for a day or so and see if the problem still happens. In some cases, connecting to a Bluetooth device might activate Do Not Disturb automatically (the main example I can think of would be connecting to your car via Bluetooth and entering Driving Mode).

Under DND exceptions: Calls - All; Messages - None; and Conversations - None. Under Alarms & sounds: Alarms - On; Media Sound - On; Touch Sounds - Off; Calendar events - Off; Reminders - Off. At the top of the DND screen, it states DND turned on by Sound Profile. But there isn't even a way to affect DND within the Sound Profile. I use Bluetooth a lot with wireless headphones to listen to audiobooks during the day so the idea of turning it off for a day isn't a very welcome option. My phone died this evening from so much listening today and a couple of hours after I charged and rebooted, I noticed it was back on DND. What / where is safe mode?

To enter safe mode press the power button until power off is displayed on the screen then on the screen long press power off until safe mode pops up and should restart in it , to exit out just power the phone off then on .

Looks like your Sound Profile app is the likely culprit. Check out that app, or uninstall it if you are not using it.

I'm not depending on Sound Profile for anything so I've uninstalled it to see what happens next but I wanted to show you what I found yesterday morning (before I deleted SP).

As you can see, the UI shows that volume is on.

If you roll all the way through it though, you come to the point where it was showing that DND was turned on.

Well, if uninstall of Sound Profile didn't work, maybe your Migraine Buddy app turned on DND when it detected active sleep, "Sleep Detection is Active". Check settings there.

No, I do not have bedtime mode posted on anything. SO FAR (fingers crossed), it has not snapped back into DND in about 3 days. Let's hope we've fixed whatever was causing it. My husband was getting real tired of me missing texts and calls because my phone had a mind of it's own.

Thank you all for your assistance with this aggravating problem! I hope to upgrade to the next S20 or whatever in the next month or so.
