Samsung S10 Wifi not getting internet connection

Check to see if there's any "Smart Wi-fi" feature or app on the phone. I find that in general, anything called "Smart" tends to be pretty dumb.;)
 
I agree.

Checked my phone, none of that stuff. Gonna disable IPv6 on my router when I get home to see if that helps.
 
Well I wasn't going to post this as a question but seeing that I'm not alone, I don't want to say makes me feel better but it does help me feel less alone. My issue isn't that I don't have any internet with WiFi, mine is that I keep loosing internet and not just with WiFi. Up until this last update my S10 was great, I dare say perfect in the signal reception area. Since then it'll drop out for no apparent reason. It will be doing whatever and suddenly everything freezes or stops playing, then it'll come back. Just tonight I've lost it at least twice listening to POD casts on data. It plays to the end of the buffer and just stops but by the time I open the app and start it again, it act like nothing is wrong. Two days ago or so I did a Partition Cache wipe. I've restarted it more than a few times. I was actually going to give it a few days, kind of just to see what the results were, and then consider the dreaded FR. Like the OP I don't really feel like this a setting issue. I mean the update did claim to be a security update so is it preventing something or seeing something as a threat??? Anyway I'll keep following this thread and see if anyone offers something I haven't tried or post a solution if I find one first...
 
I've seen a few posts about network issues after the Android 10 update on Samsung devices, but it's usually been about mobile data, not wi-fi. Might be related, though.
 
I had the same problem with brand new Zyxel Multy U mesh Wifi and S10 (latest firmware, 09/01/2020) this weekend. All of the devices (almost 20 different phones, laptops, printers etc.) works fine except S10. The same story - connection, ok for a few minutes and "No internet". Or no connection at all.
During the workaround I had notice that it's start session on 5 GHz and then jump to 2,4 network (don't forget it's a mesh wifi). When it jump phone lost the internet.
Used Wifi scanner to check.
I changed router's settings to split 2.4 and 5GHz networks with different names. Now S10 works nice with only 5 GHz network. Magic. Or a huge problem in firmware.
S10 worked well with old Tenda mesh wifi in the mixed 2.4/5 mode.

This is not related to mobile data...I"ve posted this in another forum here, but just found this one.
On a Galaxy S10, current Android version. Whenever I am on a call and try to use the internet, there is no connection. I will also lose internet on all devices, like my laptop. If I disengage WiFi, it will return to the other devices(it took weeks to figure that out). it happens in all locations. I have Comcast internet, and the tech told me he'd never heard of this (they're not always a lot of help). Anyone else experience this? Is it a setting on my phone? On the modem (altho, as I said, it does it in other locations)?
