Samsung S20FE update schedule?

Just got the latest (quarterly?) security update for my S20FE and wondering for how much longer I can expect them. Looking at the Samsung web site the most I can see is "up to seven years" which is not that definite. Do I need to start making plans to change to a newer phone?

Functionally the S20FE continues to do everything I want from a phone with the only slight issue being battery life sometimes struggles to get through a whole day but that is easily sorted by moving to a twice daily charging regime if need be.

The S20 FE gets a few extra quarterly update that the rest of the S20 didn't get because the FE came out several months after the others.

As for how many years, the S20 line does not get 7 years. The Samsung site is listing what the latest phones get, which is 7 years.

What the FE has been getting since the quarterly schedule started in Nov of 2024 are just security updates. The last OS update was Android 13, then a year of monthly security updates for that OS, then a year of quarterly security updates for that same OS. That'll end this year.

Yeh, I suspected that they would be ending this year. Why can't they spell that out plain and simple?
