android version of my S3 is 4.1.2.
Recently i have been facing the problem of battery draining very quickly.
i have turned off wifi, Bluetooth, GPS. I am on 3G and reception is good.
i have observed whenever screen is on it discharges very quickly. i use it only for whatsapp, kindle, FB.
If you see attachments, the steep drop in battery is when i used the kindle reader. i think it shouldnt be that steep. brightness was 25-30%. I only got sceen on time of 4 hr 18 min while using the phone for mostly kindle and few minutes of FB, whatsapp and Temple run.
Is it normal or i have a problem with phone
Plz help

Have you tried turning off your phone? Then turning it back on?
Perhaps, hold power and volume up to soft-reset your device.
Might help.

This worked for me, when my XOOM was being a battery waster.
Do you have a launcher installed. Sometimes they can go a bit too memory heavy.

Yep. It's pretty clear from those stats. 4+ hours of that big bright screen being on does, unfortunately, use a lot of juice. Not much you can do about other than:

1. Turn the brightness down some more
2. Stick it on the charger more often
3. But a spare battery / large capacity battery

i agree
but i only app i used was kindle for reading books that too at only 25-30% brightness. Is 4 hr screen on time for such moderate use normal for S3? and also the sudden dip in charge for such app is okay?

How long can use your device, before it dies?
4 hours, really.

but i keep brightness very low and use apps like whatsapp, kindle and not any HD games or videos

Try a different launcher. Right now apex launcher is a lot easier on my battery than touchwiz was
