samsung s3 battery draining quickly

Hi, I've had my s3 just over a year and had no problems until now. It was charging really slowly and never got to 100%. I replaced the charger and it now charges fine but the battery is draining much quicker than it used to, it seems to be dropping a couple of percent every few minutes I'm using it and even when I'm not using it. Any suggestions?

Looks like you have a few wakelocks, Your cell signal doesn't seem so great, and Google Play services accounts for 19% of the 65% drain, meaning about 12% of your total drain is from Play Services.

Have you tried a restart?

By restart do you mean a factory reset? I haven't done that yet. Is there a way to stop the wakelocks?

No, just a reboot. That usually fixes wake locks

And if it doesn't, install Wakelock Detector to see what's keeping the phone from sleeping.

Thanks for your help. Ran wakelock detector overnight and google apps seemed to be a problem. Have stopped sync on those so will see if that makes a difference.

Hi.I think maybe there is something wrong with your battery.I have even encountered the same problem as you,but what the difference is the battery can be charged full in half an hour but can also run out of in 20-30 minutes,especially when you surf the internet.My friends told me maybe the battery was aging.so I have bought two another new battery from the website.Things go well,my phone can work fine.But now I have sent the phone to one of my families.
